CheckVita publishes guides to food supplements sold by direct order in 5 countries. Each guide answers the same questions: what the manufacturer states is inside, what the product costs, where it is actually sold, and which of those claims can be checked against public sources.
What we publish
- The composition exactly as the seller states it, quoted rather than paraphrased.
- The price a buyer pays, in local currency.
- What is known about each ingredient from public sources.
- An explicit note where a claim cannot be verified.
What we do not publish
- Invented customer reviews or stock photos presented as buyers.
- Dosages we cannot source.
- Claims that a supplement treats, cures or prevents a disease.
- Before-and-after photographs.
How this site earns
Orders placed through forms on this site are passed to the seller or its affiliate network, and we may receive a commission. This does not change the price for the buyer and does not affect what a guide says: the same text is published whether the product converts well or not.
Health disclaimer
Nothing here is medical advice. Food supplements are not medicines and do not replace a varied diet, a healthy lifestyle or treatment prescribed by a doctor. Consult a healthcare professional before starting any supplement, particularly if you take prescription medication or have a chronic condition.
